i want to and i also have about 5 years of income taxes i never file……i just want to start fresh! where can i find afordable help??

    How can you afford "any" lawyer.

    I would call the IRS tax "advocacy" office. these are people who work for the gov but don’t point fingers at you . Being honest is the first step. Tell them you made a mistake and want to rectify the situation. If you come clean…they could work out something for you prior to and if you are ever charged for evasion.

    Hi. Some of these responders don’t take these questions seriously. You do need to talk with a bankruptcy attorney. Some of the taxes owed could possibly be discharged in bankruptcy. If you file a ch. 13, you would pay back the taxes owed in your ch. 13 plan without paying interest. Just a little something to think about. Hope this helped!
